Paradise Soccer Club Launches 2026 Summer Development Camps
Paradise Soccer Club is excited to officially launch its 2026 Summer Development Camps, offering players an opportunity to train in a fun, challenging, and high-quality learning environment throughout the summer.
Led by highly experienced coaches with professional, university, and high-performance backgrounds, the camps are designed to help players continue their development outside the regular season while building confidence, creativity, and game understanding.
The club will offer two distinct camp experiences this summer: a Skills Camp focused on technical development and a Tactics Camp focused on game understanding and decision-making.
Camp Dates
Skills Camp: June 29 - July 02
Tactics Camp: July 6 - July 09
Skills Camp (Technical Development)
The Skills Camp is designed for players ages 7-13 and focuses on building confident, creative players through strong technical foundations.
Players will be grouped by age and ability (7-9, 10-11, 12-13) to ensure the right level of challenge and support.
Camp Details:
- Date: June 29 - July 02
- Time: 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM
- Duration: 4 days
- Cost: $125
Throughout the week, players will participate in engaging drills and small-sided games designed to improve:
- Ball mastery and control
- Dribbling and 1v1 moves
- Passing and receiving technique
- Finishing fundamentals
Sessions are designed to be high-energy, age-appropriate, and focused on maximizing touches on the ball in a positive learning environment.
This camp is ideal for players looking to strengthen their technical skills, gain confidence, and further develop their love for the game.
Tactics Camp (Game Understanding & Decision Making)
The Tactics Camp is built for players ages 10-15 who are ready to take the next step in their development by improving how they understand and read the game.
Players will be grouped by age and ability (10-11, 12-13, 14-15).
Camp Details:
- Date: July 6 - July 09
- Time: 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM
- Duration: 4 days
- Cost: $125
Through guided activities, game-based learning, and scenario-based coaching, players will explore:
- Positioning and movement off the ball
- Attacking and defending principles
- Creating space and supporting teammates
- Game awareness and decision-making under pressure
Sessions will challenge players to think the game, play faster, and connect technical skills to real game situations in an engaging and supportive environment.
Camp Leadership
Alex McNutt - Club Head Coach
Paradise Soccer Club’s camps will be led by Club Head Coach Alex McNutt, who brings an exceptional level of coaching experience from professional academies, university sport, and national team environments.
Alex is currently the Head Coach of the Memorial University Sea-Hawks men’s soccer program and holds a UEFA A Coaching Licence.
His experience includes:
- Former coach within Liverpool FC’s development system
- Assistant Coach with Canada’s U17 & U20 Women’s National Teams, including the 2016 FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup
- Former Head Coach at Carleton University
- Extensive experience in high-performance player development pathways
Alex’s sessions are known for being engaging, challenging, and designed around real game demands.
Cameron Carpenter - Staff Coach
Joining the camp staff is Cameron Carpenter, who brings strong experience in technical development and player development environments across both Canada and England.
His experience includes:
- Former Technical Director with Feildians and CBS Soccer Clubs
- Coach within the Norwich City Academy system
- Current staff member with the NLSA Provincial Team and Indoor Performance Centre
Cameron specializes in creating structured and engaging training environments that challenge players appropriately while supporting long-term development.

Registration
Registration is now live. To ensure the highest quality experience and maximize individual feedback, each camp age group will be capped at 20 players allowing coaches to provide meaningful instruction, personalized feedback, and increased player engagement throughout each session.
